Concept of a sword powered by its owner’s blood.

The work originates from a lost handmade artifact, built in wood and iron as a personal variation of a fictional dagger.

Rather than reconstructing it as a replica, the project uses the original form as a starting point for a new design process. Scale, material, structure, and function are altered to transform the reference into a different object.

The final concept is a blood-powered sword, developed as a hybrid between weapon, relic, and digital sculpture.

The project began in early 2025 and developed throughout the year, eventually becoming part of the short film EREDITÀ, created with the contribution of Marco Gifuni.
